Transgressive artists Benjamin Schimidt and Seb Guzman Ramirez from Melbourne, have captured the attention of many recently with much success with both visual, musical and multimedia projects.
An Industrial/Noise soundtrack with stunning visuals have touched various issues guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.
Exploring topics such as Atheism and Religion, Mental illness, Mind control, corrupt politics, war and disease their works are a serious commentary on the world today.
Both artists with histories in activism and avant garde electronic music are trying to make an impact in society today by shocking, captivating and informing their audiences. Both are currently studying at art school and have been involved in many exhibitions over the past two years, including the recent success of Benjamins digital canvas print "Flesh on Bone", winning the Ron Rado memorial prize this year, 2009.
They are continuing their venture through other art projects such as Frankstons white street lightbox project and Dandenongs Walker street gallery installation. The message to their work is they believe people should change both in themselves and therefore in their society...
