Ryan McRobb, performs on guitar, laptop, MIDI guitar and his infamous spaceship effects board. Recently, the brilliant jazz/rock/experimental drummer Gareth Thomson has joined the group, creating an enormous sound palette that ranges between beautiful whispered subtleties to stadium shaking climaxes. They are often joined onstage by live painter Alice Palermo.

In 2007 mousetrapreplica performed about 60 shows, including the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Ryan’s guitar setup is utterly unique in that it utilizes some of the most complicated effects processing imaginable, and combines that with a powerful guitar based MIDI synth setup, which creates a completely individual sound, and has been said to encompass the sound of an entire orchestra.
